Omnipod 5 Pods are original disposable insulin pump Pods designed for the Omnipod 5 Automated Insulin Delivery (AID) System. This version is specifically compatible with Dexcom G6 or FreeStyle Libre 2 Plus, so the exact CGM compatibility should be checked before purchase.

When used in Automated Mode with a compatible glucose sensor, SmartAdjust™ technology automatically adjusts insulin delivery every 5 minutes based on glucose readings and trends. The system can increase, decrease or pause insulin delivery according to predicted glucose needs, while meal and correction boluses are managed through the supported Omnipod 5 control method for the user's setup.

Each wearable Pod combines the insulin reservoir, delivery mechanism and automatic soft cannula insertion in one compact device. The tubeless design eliminates external infusion tubing and is designed for comfortable everyday wear, including normal physical activity, showering and swimming within the manufacturer's specified limits.
